PITCHNEST

Who we are

We are a communications firm specializing exclusively in the climate and sustainability sector, combining in-depth expertise in climate science with strategic communications.

Strategic Communications for Sustainable Future

At Pitchnest, we’re more than just communications experts, we’re storytellers, strategists, and passionate advocates for a healthier planet. Our team brings together diverse voices and deep experience in campaigns, communications, and climate action, united by a shared belief: that powerful stories can move people, shift policies, and spark real change. Our strength lies in connecting the dots between science and emotion, policy and people. We help amplify your voice, build trust with stakeholders, and create campaigns that not only inform but also inspire.

Pitchnest partners with climate, nature, and sustainable energy-focused organizations, advocates, and journalists to craft strategic, clear and compelling communication that drives awareness, influence, and visibility. Our approach goes beyond messaging; we support teams document their impact through compelling, community-centered storytelling that reflects lived experiences, local knowledge, and climate action urgency. Whether you’re launching a campaign, responding to a crisis, or shaping long-term advocacy, we work with you to develop narratives that resonate across media platforms and policy spaces. From refining story angles and building media kits to coaching for interviews and producing multimedia content, we ensure your voice reaches the right people with clarity, credibility, and purpose.

Meet Our Founder

Florence Ogola Fuchs is a seasoned communications specialist who has spent more than a decade shaping narratives that drive social change and amplify voices across Africa and beyond. Her career has spanned diverse thematic areas, from humanitarian response and gender empowerment to child protection, HIV/AIDS, and inequality. In each of these fields, she has used her expertise to bring clarity and purpose to complex issues, ensuring that communication serves as a bridge between communities and policymakers.

Since 2022, Florence has strategically focused her expertise on climate change, biodiversity, and nature protection. In this space, she has worked to elevate evidence-based narratives that mobilize action on urgent environmental challenges. Her commitment to amplifying the
Impact of climate-induced disasters and nature loss on communities at the frontlines of climate change is rooted in her belief that communication is not just about information, but about justice, equity, and the power of collective action.
Before establishing Pitchnest Communications, Florence worked with leading international organizations, including Oxfam International, the Red Cross Movement, Catholic Relief Services, and the Global Strategic Communications Council, among others.
